- Medically supervised detox needs TriWest prior authorization for planned admissions, while emergency admissions follow a notification process instead.
- Residential treatment needs TriWest prior authorization for every admission.
- Partial hospitalization (PHP) needs TriWest prior authorization before care begins.
- Intensive outpatient (IOP) needs TriWest prior authorization before care begins.
