About01The house in the hills

Two Houses, Twelve People,
and the Work of Staying Still.

Bliss Recovery is a residence in the Hollywood Hills where addiction and the conditions that travel with it are treated as the serious things they are — by people who have spent their careers doing exactly that.

Our approach

Treatment, As If You Were Home.

The house was chosen first. Two adjacent residences in the Hollywood Hills, big enough to hold a full rehabilitation program and small enough that residents know each other's names by the end of the first week.

The program was built around the house. A dedicated clinician on day one. Same team from detox through aftercare. Private chef. Long mornings. The work is unglamorous; the surroundings just make it easier.

"What changes a person is being known. We start there, and we let the rest follow."

We've taken nothing for granted about what it means to ask for help. Admissions are handled in-house by a small team, day or night. Insurance verification takes a few minutes. There is no pressure on the call.

Questions About Bliss Recovery

Where is Bliss Recovery located?

Bliss Recovery operates two adjacent residential houses in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles — at 2780 Creston Drive (Lakeview House) and 2816 Durand Drive (Spanish Villa). Both are private residences, not clinical facilities.

How many residents does Bliss Recovery accept at one time?

We keep a maximum of twelve residents across both houses at any given time. This intentionally small census allows a 6:1 resident-to-staff ratio, ensuring each person has a dedicated clinician, psychiatrist, and case manager.

Is Bliss Recovery licensed and accredited?

Yes. Bliss Recovery is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), holds Joint Commission accreditation (the Gold Seal of Approval), is a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), and is LegitScript Certified as a verified addiction treatment provider.

Who makes up the clinical team at Bliss Recovery?

Our team includes licensed therapists and counselors, a clinical director, board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners for medical oversight, and a psychiatrist for dual diagnosis care. Each resident is assigned a dedicated clinician from day one.

Does Bliss Recovery accept insurance?

Yes. We're in-network with HealthSmart, MultiPlan, PMCS, and TriWest, and we work with most major PPO insurance plans on an out-of-network basis. Insurance verification is handled in-house by our admissions team and typically takes just a few minutes. You can call us any time, day or night, to begin the process.

When was Bliss Recovery founded?

Bliss Recovery was founded in 2023 and began treating residents in April 2024. We became a member of NAATP in December 2025.
