Admissions

About Admissions

How do I begin the admissions process?

Call (323) 798-4411 or submit our insurance verification form. You will be connected with a confidential intake coordinator — not an automated system. The initial conversation carries no obligation.

Can a family member call on behalf of a loved one?

Yes. We regularly speak with family members who are researching options on someone else's behalf. We can walk you through the program, answer questions about clinical fit, and guide next steps — all confidentially.

How quickly can admission happen?

Same-day or next-day admission is possible in many cases. Once insurance is verified and the clinical assessment is complete, we coordinate travel and intake as quickly as the clinical and logistical situation allows. Call and we will tell you specifically what is available right now.

What if I've tried treatment before and it didn't work?

Prior treatment that did not produce lasting recovery is clinical information, not a disqualifier. It tells us something about what approach may work differently this time. We welcome that conversation.

The program

About the Program

How long is a typical stay?

Residential care lasts for an individualized length, followed by partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs. The right length is determined together with your clinical team during the first week, not on the admissions call.

Can my family visit?

Yes. The family program runs throughout treatment, with scheduled family visits and dedicated family sessions. Your clinical team coordinates the timing based on where you are in your care, and a clinician is available to support family communication along the way.

What should I bring?

Less than you think. Comfortable clothes, basic toiletries, a journal if you keep one, books you love. We provide linens, towels, robes, and personal-care basics. We'll send a detailed packing list once your admission is confirmed.

What about my phone and laptop?

Phone access is managed during your stay to protect focus and the privacy of the community, with scheduled access as you settle in. Laptops are handled case-by-case — many residents need to keep working, and we accommodate where we can. We'll discuss the specifics before arrival.

Insurance & cost

About Insurance & Cost

What's the cost if my insurance doesn't cover it?

Private pay and out-of-network rates are quoted directly during the verification call. We'll never publish pricing without context — the right number depends on which level of care, for how long, and what's included.

Will my employer or family be notified?

Not without your explicit written authorization. All communications are confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
